The Global Esports Federation will convene a bi-annual #worldconnected_womenGlobal Forum (WWGF), held for the first time in May and November this year. The Forum is open to women in the global esports community and will be held on the occasion of the World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development, on Friday, 21 May 2021.
The Global Esports Federation is a values-based organization highly committed to the principles of equality, diversity and inclusion. Aligned with GEF’s universal values, and our desire to create tangible initiatives in service to our communities, the WWGF is designed to offer a platform for all women in the GEFamily and GEF universe to gather – creating space for dialogue on the current and future state of the role of women in esports.
GEF Vice President, Chair of the Athletes, Players, Community Commission, Olympian, Charmaine Crooks, will Chair the Forum.
